DRUG DOSAGE CALCULATION IN MCG / KG / MIN.

Patient care in different scenarios and specialties
requires the drug administration by continuous infusion,
drugs that use a individualized infusion rate expressed
in mcg/kg/min are usually vasoactive drugs.
The objective of this review is to provide a practical
and specific way to calculate the infusion rate expressed
in mcg/kg/min. The procedure to obtain the dose
of infusion expressed in mcg/kg/min will be divided in
two sections, a universal method for obtaining doses
and a method that can be useful in case of having a
institutional standardization of dilutions.
