LIVED EXPERIENCE OF THE HASPITZLIZED CHILD IN THE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT RELATED TO THE CARE RECEIVED.
Abstract

Introduction. Children have often been the object of
invisibility phenomena, their voices and perspectives
have been hidden or obscured by other people,
generally adults, who consider themselves to have
more power or capabilities. Compared to adults,
children are more capable to express their emotions.
Research with children in the field of health
is aimed at constructing real conditions so that their
voices and experiences are included as part of the
knowledge and analysis of their realities and in the
design of programs, actions and policies. According
to Duque-Páramo, there are three main purposes in
research with children: a hermeneutic intentionality
that is concretized in actions such as knowing, listening,
understanding and interpreting their voices and
experiences. The second is focused on knowing from
their own perspectives about their problems, needs,
requirements and alternative solutions. And the third
focuses on the intervention and transformation of
their realities. These three purposes are interwoven
in such a way that, through interactions, they can became
means for participants to recognize their own
voices and then became empowered as actors and agents of their experiences and realities.
